Marine Seabass Farming Prototype

A controlled marine fish farming prototype focused on seabass production, water management, and future integration with the Agrith ecosystem.

Marine seabass farming prototype

The marine seabass prototype is the aquaculture track inside Agrith. It is designed to test fish production, water quality control, and the practical requirements of a recirculating or controlled marine system.

Fish farming adds a different production layer to the forest model. It can produce food while teaching us about water treatment, feed management, filtration, and operational risk.

What We Need To Measure

The prototype should track:

  • water quality and filtration stability
  • feed input and growth response
  • mortality and health events
  • energy and maintenance demand
  • cost per kilogram of fish
  • whether the system can integrate with future nutrient loops

Why Seabass

Seabass is a valuable marine fish and a strong candidate for controlled production. The prototype gives Agrith a practical way to test whether marine aquaculture can sit beside livestock, insects, cooling systems, and forest planting.

Connection To The Forest Model

Aquaculture should not be isolated. In the long term, water management, data, filtration, and nutrient logic can help inform the broader smart forest system.
